Your website that you guys created is really good because it gives people of all ages true information thats really helpful, especially the part for parents that might make them feel more comfortable about their child using a webcam. I also liked your choice of videos because most people don't think about everyone seeing what they post online. Its evident that you guys did your research well.
ReplyDeleteI really liked this website. I think its important to have these sorts of websites in today's society so people are aware of how to use facebook, myspace, twitter, and webcams properly. It was very well organized and gave a lot of very useful tips and suggestions that other such websites fail to offer.

Having people with experience in each field made it more informative and if I stumbled across this page I would find it useful. I thought your presentation was very good. Everyone had well thought out parts and everyone really knew what they were talking about. Good job girls!
ReplyDeleteYour website was put together well. I liked how you guys split the age groups up because that will be easier for people to read the information about webcams based on their age. I didn't know much about webcams until I got one on my computer. I can now learn more about the dangers, yet positives of using webcams. I also liked how each person related to the topic they had written. Great Job!
ReplyDeleteI thought you did a great job utilizing the age of your group members and their experiences to establish credibility. I also thought that your introduction and presentation was very good. Over all I don't think I saw anything negative. If I had to suggest something I would say you should have shown the second video in you presentation but overall, great job!
ReplyDeleteThis was a great topic to pick. I know how much i worry about my younger sister being on things like facebook and twitter. It was also a smart idea to make a section for the more dominant age groups, giving them instructions on how to deal with each other and how to use these sites for what they were really made for. Good Job
ReplyDeleteYour website has useful information about the safety and fun features of webcams.I think the information you provided will give people a better understanding of how cameras like that work, and hopefully it will offer people a safer way to use them. I also liked that you each took a page according to who you can relate to. It will be helpful that a parent wrote the parents' page and someone with experience with children wrote the children's page.

ReplyDeleteI was greatly pleased with the website. It was very easy to maneuver through and get from point to point. I can tell you guys worked reallly hard because there was a lot of research done. I reallly liked how you put the best qualified people for each perspective. Going off of that, I thought the idea of different perspectives was really creative. Even though I did love everything you guys did, I did see that some of the text ran into each other and was hard to distinguish different points. Greattt job though! [=
"The Truth About Webcams" was a clever name and also a really good topic idea. Many people misuse and abuse the webcam, so people get a bad impression of it, but you guys really described in detail who can benefit from it and how to use it properly. The project and presentation were very thorough. You all did a really good job!
ReplyDeleteGood job on the website! It was very clever to show the different prospectives and use different languages for the different age groups. All the group members seemed very credible. It was nice that each of you fit a different category. I liked how at first you showed the video that was leaning more towards the negative side of webcams. So you guys showed both sides of the argument. But it did persuade me that webcams are a very good resource.

ReplyDeleteVery nice work. If I had stumbled across the site, I never would have thought of it as somebody's homework assignment, but as a legitimate website (which it is, of course). Not only did you tailor it to your audience, but three different audiences: parents, teens, and children.

I think that each member in our group had both learned something that they didn't already know. I', excited to see the final product of the project and I think that our presentation went a lot better than expected.
ReplyDeleteI liked the concept of the entire webpage, but I think that it was a bit too much information. There was a lot of reading and I don't think that an audience would be willing to do so much reading on a website. That's just one opinion though. Good Job

ReplyDeleteFirst off- I really like that you have tabs for each age-group... this makes the site easy to navigate and relate to, depening upon ones age. I think the home page was a bit boring and wordy... but if you actually read the information, it is helpful.
ReplyDeleteYour website about the webcams is truley educational.Especially that was really interesting for me to hear the usage of webcams from the perspective of a senior from you group because it gives interest and credibility to your website. The link provided were relevent and up to the point because nowdays most people think of webcams as something really evil but you provided information to teens children about its usefulness.Especially persuading parents that it is useful helps them allow their children use it to their advantage. However,while reading your project I found out some collocation and spelling mistakes. Overall, I felt that I got a lot of information through your website
ReplyDeleteDespite maybe a few grammar issues... this website is very informative and sheds a new light on web cams, which seem to have some stigma about them nowadays. The different view points were great, and of course the fact that it's a website sets a great stage for you guys. The whole world can technically view what you have to say on this website, which is a cool thought. I also thought that it has a professional look to it, which will appeal to your audience even more.

I thought there was a lot of text though and it seemed kind of overwhelming. Not a lot people would want to sit through and read all of that. I saw a couple spelling errors so check those. good job!

I liked the fact that they grouped the pages according to age, so the reader knows exactly which imformation is intended for them. The tips of how to avoid miss using a webcam was very helpful. Great job on organization and imformation!

I didn't really know much about web cams until a few months ago. This site helped me understand the pros and cons of them, and the tips section told me a lot. Nice job.
